A free Lua obfuscator that ships with everything else

Fact-checkedagainst live competitor pricing, September 2026 · Vampauth Team

Bring your own obfuscator

Use Luraph, MoonSec, yours — custom mode hosts any obfuscated script. Ours is included too.

Keyless (FFA) mode

Gate nothing when you want: projects can run key-free with zero friction for your users.

0% revenue cut — always

Checkpoint links point to YOUR accounts. Vampauth never takes a share. No subscription either.

Obfuscation usually means a separate service, a separate subscription, and a manual dance between the obfuscator's output and your loader. Vampauth runs its own VM-based engine inside the platform: upload, pick a preset, done — the obfuscated script is served through a game-restricted loadstring, and the key system around it is already wired. Free, all presets included.

Prefer your own obfuscator? Bring it. Custom mode hosts any externally obfuscated script — Luraph, MoonSec, whatever you trust — and serves it through the same protected loadstring with the key system around it. No lock-in: our engine is a convenience, not a cage.

The workflow

  1. 1. Upload. Your Lua source goes to server-side storage (up to 8 MB) — never a public file, never pasted into the script itself.
  2. 2. Choose a preset. Lite for speed, advanced for balance, maximum for the nested double-VM with tamper-cascading crypto. Already obfuscated elsewhere? Custom mode skips this step.
  3. 3. Serve. Users load the obfuscated build through an in-game-restricted loadstring URL. Key checks run signed; leaked builds die with revoke or re-obfuscation.

What's included

  • VM-based engine — bytecode virtualization, not just string renaming
  • Three presets: lite, advanced, and maximum (nested double-VM with tamper-cascading crypto)
  • Bring your own obfuscator: custom mode hosts any engine's output, no lock-in
  • Applied server-side: source is never a public static file
  • Delivered through an in-game-restricted loadstring URL (up to 8 MB)
  • Re-obfuscate anytime — kill leaked builds with revoke/expire
  • Keyless (FFA) projects supported when you don't want keys at all
  • Included free — obfuscation is not metered or tier-gated
  • 0% revenue cut: checkpoint links point to your own ad accounts
  • Comes with the whole pipeline: keys, HWID, checkpoints, analytics

Standalone obfuscators vs the bundled pipeline

Luraph (since 2017, the engine behind some key systems' obfuscation) and MoonSec are respected standalone tools — if they fit your workflow, their output still hosts on Vampauth in custom mode. The difference is scope: an obfuscator protects code, it doesn't issue keys, bind hardware, verify checkpoints or track executions. Pandauth's Roblox tier, for instance, leans on external Luraph/IronBrew for obfuscation — one more dependency to manage. Vampauth bundles its own engine so the whole loop — protect, license, monetize, deliver — lives in one dashboard and costs nothing.

Free Lua obfuscator — FAQ

Is there a free Lua obfuscator?

Yes — Vampauth includes a VM-based Lua obfuscation engine free with every account. Scripts are obfuscated in-dashboard with three presets (lite, advanced, maximum) and served through a game-restricted loadstring URL. Unlike standalone obfuscators, it comes with the full pipeline: key system, HWID binding, checkpoint monetization and hosting.

What obfuscation presets does Vampauth offer?

Three presets: lite (fast, lighter protection), advanced, and maximum — the default — which uses a nested double-VM with tamper-cascading crypto. You can also upload a script that is already obfuscated elsewhere ('custom' mode) and Vampauth will still host and deliver it.

Why obfuscate inside a key system instead of using a standalone obfuscator?

A standalone obfuscator protects code but doesn't license it — you still need somewhere to store the script, validate keys, bind HWIDs and run your checkpoint flow. With Vampauth, obfuscation runs on the server right before delivery: the source is never a public file, and the same dashboard handles keys, resets, bans and analytics. It's one pipeline instead of two services stitched together.

How does Vampauth's obfuscation compare to Luraph or MoonSec?

Luraph and MoonSec are established standalone obfuscators with long track records — Luraph even powers other key systems' obfuscation backends. Vampauth doesn't compete on claiming stronger virtualization; it bundles its own VM-based engine (up to nested double-VM) into a platform that also does key management, HWID binding, monetized checkpoints and hosting, all free. If you already love your standalone obfuscator, you can obfuscate there and still host the output on Vampauth in custom mode.

Can I obfuscate a script without using the key system?

The engine is built into the Vampauth dashboard, so it works on scripts you host there — and hosting requires a (free) account. There is no separate charge or premium tier for obfuscation; every plan, including free, has the full preset range.
